Cam Hudson and Paul Menary launched HMM in 2021 with a vision of doing things differently. With 40 years’ collective experience across the media industry, they saw a genuine need for a small independent agency that put clients first, regardless of size or scale and so HMM was born. A few years later and HMM is thriving in a space we are truly proud of.
Our ethos
At Hudson Menary Media we pride ourselves on our unique approach. With in-depth knowledge of planning, buying and selling media we know there is no “one size fits all” solution, so we simply don’t work that way. We build bespoke partnerships for each of our clients and provide focused attention to each and every business challenge in order to achieve optimum results.
What are optimum results? This varies from client to client and campaign to campaign. That’s why we’re different – we never assume something that worked in one instance will work in another. Your media spend and marketing budget are worth more than a line of data. Working with HMM means having a clear understanding of where your media dollars are going and why. Not only do we have extensive knowledge of how media companies operate, we are also free of external forces influencing buying decisions, meaning we are truly agnostic and will only ever make the best decisions for you, our client!

Cam Hudson
Beginning his career client side, Cam worked as a marketer, buying media and managing campaign performance both above and below the line. It was here that he grew his passion for media and moved into out-of-home media sales and then onto radio, where he was immersed within the world of digital audio and podcasts. It was this experience combined with the Covid-19 pandemic “media shut-down” that inspired Cam to start his own agency. Serendipitously, Cam met with Paul around this time and working together with a common goal, HMM was born. When he’s not working, you’ll find Cam out fishing, golfing or just hanging out with his Border Collie, Jonathan.

Paul Menary
Paul began his media career in an out-of-home company in the late 90s, being mentored by none other than recent 2022 OMA Hall of Fame inductee, Daphne McPhee. He spent the next 20 years honing his sales skills across direct and agency and then transitioning into management. Before creating his own agency, Paul helped launch and run an out-of-home sales office in Melbourne where he worked closely with the Victorian media agencies. It was his time in this market that inspired him to join forces with Cam and to create Hudson Menary Media.
